How to start trading?

Poteza's stock brokers can start trading for you on the stock exchange after you have signed a Agreement on Brokerage. You can conclude the agreement by personally coming to the company's registered office, one of Poteza's branch offices or to affiliate stock brokerage representatives of Poteza d.d.

For the conclusion of the Brokerage agreement you need:

physical persons:

• a valid personal identification document (personal ID card, passport or another document containing your photo and permanent address),
• tax number and
• current account number;

legal persons:

• decision on registration (which is not older than 3 months),
• ID number for VAT or tax number,
• current account number, valid personal identification document containing a photo and
• tax number of legal person’s legal representative,
• a list of authorized persons of the legal person and their personal data (tax number, current account, copy of personal identification document).

Once you have concluded the Agreement on brokerage, you can submit an order for a purchase or sale of securities to one of Poteza’s stock brokers. In case you submit an order to buy, you must primarily transfer a 100% advance for the purchase of securities and for coverage of purchase-related costs to the Poteza d.d. client current account, No. 01502-0007370086, which is kept by the Bank of Slovenia.

Methods of submitting orders

After you have signed the agreement, you can submit orders to your stock broker:

• ordinary ways: personally, via telephone, fax, or in written via e-mail, ordinary mail or
• electronic ways: via the P4net electronic system or via Tradeport electronic trade platform.

If you have any questions regarding the orders of securities, you can always contact one of Poteza’s experts who are available either at the company’s registered office or in Poteza d.d. branch offices. You can also submit your orders in all major branch offices of the Pošta Slovenije.
