About the Fund

The Poteza Energy Fund will invest in construction of infrastructural energy facilities for the use of predominantly renewable energy sources with the use of modern technologies, which do not harm the environment. The target amount of the Energy Fund’s capital is between 150 and 200 million euros of investors’ collected assets. The Fund, the foundation of which is planned for 2008, will predominantly invest in the field of fast-growing markets of the SE Europe.

In the period of the energy fund foundation, the future-to-be Fund’s Consultant – Interenergo d.d. - carefully and actively seeks investment opportunities and, if necessary, informs the potential investors on the possibilities of inclusion in this fund or investments in independent energy projects.

Planned extent of Fund assets: EUR 150 to 200 million

Investment policy:
The Fund’s strategy includes acquisition of concessions for the construction of infrastructural facilities, construction of new and purchase of the already existing energy production facilities which, with the use of renewable energy resources, decrease the dependence of countries to import energy, increase safety of stocks, energy-efficient use, and contribute to the strengthening of the region’s local development.

Investment regions:
The investment region of the Poteza Energy Fund will be SE Europe. In the first phase, the Fund will be focused on Albania, Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, while in the second phase it will expand its operation also to Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Montenegro and Hungary.
